Crafting and cloth diapering

About six weeks ago, I decided it was time to look at saving a few more dollars, so I decided to try cloth diapers for a week. Well six weeks have passed and I now enjoy cloth diapering even more. I have been able to start crafting items for my beautiful boy. Wool soakers, winter hat and christening gown, mommy's on a roll.

Daniel's first 5 months

well, so much for keeping everyone posted on our blog. These first few months have been quite an adventure. So I am writing today to bring all of you up to speed.

Daniel Glenn Kandell was born May 4, 2009 at 1:36 pm at Good Sam Hospital. He weighed in at a wopping 6lbs 7 oz and was 20 and 3/4 inches long.

After a rocky recovery, and a few weeks of rest Mommy, daddy an Daniel went on our first big outing. We went to the butterfly exhibit at Krohn Conservatory.

We had a wonderful time with the butterflies and looking at all the beautiful plants. We will have to go back again next spring.

In the past five months Daniel has grown quite strong. He can push up on his belly with straight arms, he rolls everywhere, has found his hands and feet, is eating cereal and on October 2, 2009 his lower incisors both broke through his gums! That's right, two teeth at just under 5 months old what a thrill.
